Attorney Sanjay Sankaran focuses on the practice of Consumer Bankruptcy law according to the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. He has over 5 years experience as an attorney, having previously worked in a general civil litigation firm before hanging his own shingle in the Summer of 2008.
Attorney Sankaran graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. He spent a summer in Mexico refining his Spanish speaking skills and this helps him communicate fluently with Spanish speaking clients. He received his J.D. degree from New England School of Law in Boston in 2002 and has since been working in Lowell, Massachusetts. Although Attorney Sankaran has experience with different areas of practice such as Family law, Personal Injury and Criminal Defense, he decided to focus on Bankruptcy once he set up his own practice as he felt that this is a very rewarding area of law and he could help put a smile on his clients faces.
Attorney Sankaran is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is the former chair of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is also actively involved with the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston.
